Setup – When using braided line you should always use a leader of either monofilament or fluorocarbon. Tie the lure to the leader with a loop type knot and the leader directly to the line. Do not use swivels, because it will change the way the lure performs and possibly spook the fish. When not using braided line, you can tie directly to the lure, but still use a loop knot.
Where to use these lures – Use this lure practically anywhere. Use caution around structure because of the treble hooks.
Technique – This is a suspended twitch type lure. Reeling in slower will let the lure travel deeper in the water column. Giving twitches will give the look of an injured baitfish.
Angler ability – This is an easy lure to use. Beginners may need to practice a little with twitching the lure when reeling in.

Notes from Randy - This lure looks like a Glass minnow in the water. Try to match the color of the bait around you and don’t be afraid to try all the colors. I have had great success with this lure casting it into schools of Glass minnows that were being attacked by Snook, Redfish and Seatrout. However, I have also noticed that if the bait around me are not Glass minnows, this lure was not as affective.
